Meet Alaina Belisle
Alaina Belisle is a musician and native Seattleite who has dedicated the majority of her life to honing her craft in performance and has spent the last several years teaching students the skills they need to succeed. She holds a Maestra en Música degree in viola performance with a minor in chamber music from la Fundación Universitaria Juan N. Corpas in Bogotá, Colombia. At la Corpas, Alaina took an additional four years of private piano lessons to continue the learning of her secondary instrument, which she began at the age of six. While living in Bogotá, she immersed herself in the Colombian music scene and the Spanish language. She later moved to Hattiesburg, MS where she completed a Master of Music degree in viola performance, awarded a full tuition scholarship. Music has taken Alaina on many adventures and she has performed in Colombia, Ecuador, USA, and Italy.
